Yael N KUTLER
Originally from Israel, Yael has dedicated herself to the practice of yoga since 1996, when she first started to experience its powerful healing effects. From a young age Yael was fascinated by spiritual teachings and mind body connection & has always believed that there's much more to life than what our eyes see.
In her twenties, living in Tel Aviv, Yael graduated with a bachelor's degree in social sciences. She soon afterward discovered Yoga and Vipassana meditation and found new meaning and fulfilment in her life.
Over the past two decades, Yael has lived and worked primarily in India and Sri Lanka, as well as on and off in California. She has continued exploring a blend of yoga traditions from the East & West, creatively combining yoga styles including Classical Hatha, Power yoga, Vinyasa flow, Iyengar yoga, Acu-yoga, Anusara yoga, Jivamukti yoga among others.
She has a variety of certifications, in healing techniques and alternative medicine.
Recognized for her unique and inspiring teaching style, Yael fuses mindfulness, breath awareness, detailed attention to alignments and hands-on assistance in Asanas.
With nearly 30 years of intensive yoga practice, Yael is honored to share her rich knowledge and experience as both a student and teacher of this timeless practice.
THE ROOTS OF HER JOURNEY
In 2001, in one of her visits to India, she met fellow traveler and yoga instructor Kevin Kutler, originally from San Diego, California, who would later become her husband of 12 years. They traveled the world together, leading diverse classes and workshops, as well as co-managing the Yoga Center in Stardust Beach Hotel, Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka, a global surfing spot.
These days, Yael is based in Los Angeles, California, where she continues to lead group classes as well as personal training for people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels, honoring each student’s voice and style.
Yael studied for her teacher training with Richard Schachtel, Director of the Center for Yoga, in Seattle, Washington (RYS-500), as well as Acu-Yoga teacher training with Gregory Dunn, senior yoga teacher trainer at My Health yoga school, Austrelia. She holds E-RYT 200-hour certificate, as well as several Massage Therapy and Acupuncture diplomas.

Class Schedule
Yael is E-RYT200 hour yoga instructor with 27 years of intensive yoga practice and study around the world & in the United States.
In her classes she blends yoga traditions including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Acu-yoga, Iyengar yoga & Jivamukti.
In -Person Yoga for all levels
Tuesdays 6.00 - 7.00pm
Sundays at 9.00 - 10.00am

This class keeps you moving!
Yael links poses together to make creative sequences, moving from one pose to the next. Movement and breath linked with Sun salutes, standing poses, forward bending, back bends, twists, inversions and final relaxation.
Yin & Restorative
A slower paced style of class. variations of passive seated and supine poses for a longer period of time of time.
This class focusing on static movement, breath work and mindfulness with intention to bring elasticity into the body and increase overall body strength in a soft approach.
Meditation & Pranayama
This class helps to relax the mind.
Introducing a guided meditation that helps quiet the mind long enough to access blocked energy and emotions in the body. The practice of Breath work as an active meditation that gives us an opportunity to recharge our creativity, detox our nervous system, and nourish our soul.
All classes are multi-level so that everyone can experience yoga where they are.
HEALING ARTS PRACTITIONER
Passionate about natural healing & wholistic lifestyle, Yael has expertise in healing arts techniques and is certified as a practitioner of Acupuncture, Traditional Thai Reflexology, Thai Yoga Bodywork, and others.
She has given thousands of therapeutic treatments to people all around the world. She prefers wholistic, integrative approach, seamlessly combining different traditions and techniques in her treatments.
She received training in traditional Chinese medicine at ECAN International School of Acupuncture. She also undertook the Acupuncture clinical training of the Open International University for Complementary Medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In her sessions Yael ensure that you are completely aware and comfortable with the care she is offering to treat your symptoms and explains her treatment plan before moving forward.
